Core Values of Sahel Academy

Spiritual - Our curriculum is Christ-centered, taught from a Biblical worldview. Our students are challenged to develop a personal faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, and to pursue a growing, relationship with Him.  We value prayer as we praise God, seek His direction, request resources, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us.

Intellectual – We value critical thinking skills, where knowledge, wisdom, truth, reasoning, discernment and excellence are combined to equip our students with sharpened skills and abilities.

Emotional – We value all people as individuals, bearing God’s image. As such, we value their worth, potential, gifts, talents and abilities.  We encourage and nurture each other to develop emotional stability to adjust to the joys and trials of life.

Social – We value the diversity of our multicultural school body.  We teach and learn using an international curriculum.  We value servant leadership, responsibility, integrity and honesty in our relationships.

Physical – We value healthy living.  Our bodies are to be cared for recognizing they are created by God.  We teach and model proper exercise, sportsmanship, fair-play, balanced priorities of work and rest, healthy nutrition and moral lifestyle choices.
